When Eczema Attacks

Also known as, "So I was wrong about that teething thing."

We (Jake and I) have determined that Camille's sudden crankiness is not because of teething. We can't feel any teeth under her gums, for one thing, and for another, her back is the color of a steamed lobster.

Jake took one look at her back and said, "Yep, eczema."

She got a bunch of eczema-friendly lotion slathered on her back, and she's currently in nothing but a diaper. Jake's holding her up so she doesn't have to rub her back against anything. So far, she's been happy and babbling as usual. I don't know what we're going to do when it's bedtime, though...
