So, we don't have any Christmas stockings. It's shameful, I know! So I decided to make some this year. Personalized stockings for me, Jake, and Wormie. Fun times, right?
Actually, yes.
Jake's stocking fabrics got here first, so I made his while I wait for the other fabric.
First, I got a stocking at Target for like $2 and took it apart. Here are the pieces.
And this is the fabric for Jake's stocking!
Used some chalk to trace the outline of the stocking template onto the fabric.
Then I flipped the template over and traced another outline for the other side of the stocking.
LFMF: Don't be a noob and trace one stocking on the fabric upside-down. Herpin' and a-derpin'.
Next, I sliced the fabric up and cut the stocking pieces out.
Once the stockings are cut out, I traced/cut out the cuff.
Next, I put the stocking pieces together, wrong sides facing, and pinned them together.
Let the sewing commence!!
Sewed together one side and then unfolded the stockings along the sewed seam.
Pinned the cuff on.
Once the cuff was sewed on, I pinned up the remainder of the stocking and sewed that together.
And when the stocking was all sewed together, I added a thing to hang it by.
Finished product... ta da!! We don't really have anywhere to hang it so it's kind of stuck on a drawer handle for now.

Gobble, Gobble!
Yeah, yeah, I'm a couple days late. This NaNoWriMo thing is murderizing me. Halfway done with a week to go. Can I make it? YEEESSSSSSS.
Anyway, I'm here to post an aaaahhhhhh-dorable video of Wormie playing the piano on Thanksgiving.
My future concert pianist, but only if she finds time to practice outside of her astronaut career.
So I guess I should write something about being pregnant. I'm finally not sick anymore--18 weeks, 'bout time!--and I definitely look preggers now. I keep telling myself I'm going to do leg exercises like squats and lunges, but then I take a nap instead.
Mmmm... nap.

Halloween 2012
Another successful candy plundering! Wormie brought mommy home plenty of sugary treats. Woohoo!
If I had been thinking proactively, I would have dressed her up like the Gangnam Style guy and had her say, "heeeeeyyyyyyy sexy lady!" instead of "trick or treat!"
But fortunately for me, Jake's mom made Wormie her costume: a witch!! She wore the hat for about five seconds, but it was enough time for me to get a couple pictures.
After trick-or-treating, Wormie and her cousin enjoyed some suckers at Grandma's house, where we managed to get them to sit still for about 45 seconds. Enough time for pictures!

Halloween, Farmer's Market, Et Cetera
It has been brought to my attention that I'm a terrible slacker when it comes to posting pictures of Camille. Guilty! So I'm posting up a bazillion pictures and some cute videos to make up for it. Can I have a couple of weeks now, Mom!?
At the Pumpkin Patch, going through the maze...
... looking at some bunnies...
... picking out pumpkins...
Then back at home, carving the pumpkins.
Yesterday, at the farmer's market.
Then we went to visit the new house (that's not quite finished yet).
Hanging out with cousin Londyn!
Tonight at bedtime, Camille wanted to read US a story. The book is Yertle the Turtle, for anyone who wants to know WTF she's looking at. There is counting in the last video.

She's saying, "awwww so cute!" with her hands all clasped.
Two goofballs.
Then back at home, carving the pumpkins.
"OMG WHY DID YOU PULL ITS BRAIN OUT"
Finished pumpkins! Every day when we leave, she says goodbye to them.
