Camille finally had an Easter where she hunted for eggs. Last year, I don't remember what we did, but it sure wasn't an egg hunt. And the year before that, she was like 6 months old and probably would have just eaten the grass the eggs were hiding in.
Last Thursday, Camille was a grumpy butt. She was grouchy, refused to eat, would cry for no apparent reason, had a mild fever, and was drooling like a Saint Bernard. As it turns out, she was teething. Molars! How lucky are we?!
Well, her teething-'tude has persisted through the weekend. She continued to be a grouch today. She fell asleep in the car on the way to her Grandma's house, so we set her down in a spare bedroom to take a nap. We eventually had to wake her up when her cousin got there so they could go hunt for the eggs we had gleefully hidden around the yard.

She was not impressed.
In fact, she wouldn't even respond to anyone for a good 20 minutes after waking up. But eventually, she stoppe being a brat for long enough to throw her into the grass and begin the hunt!
She loves this garden accent, so we put an egg on it for her.
The look says, "Bitch, I see you eyein' my egg."
Can't go anywhere without the dinosaur.
After the egg hunt, the kids opened their eggs for the surprise candy inside.
SURPRISE! THERE'S NO CANDY!
I filled the eggs with these squishy rubber ball things, balloons, dinosaur stickers, pretzels, and Goldfish crackers. The balloons were a big hit!
Then, we all ate a delicious dinner that Elma made, played a card game, and generally just hung out and had a good time. Hooray!
Thankyou Taylor for putting this egg hunt on for Cash and Cami. They are too cute. We had a great time hanging out tonight. :-)
